Introduction
As a Reviewer for Jurnal Akuntansi dan Manajemen Dharma Bharata (JAMDB), you play a critical role in maintaining the scholarly quality of our publication. JAMDB operates under a Double-Blind Peer Review process, ensuring that the identities of both Authors and Reviewers remain completely anonymous.
We ask our reviewers to evaluate manuscripts based on scientific merit, objectivity, and academic integrity.
Key Evaluation Criteria Reviewers are expected to assess the manuscript based on the following aspects:
- Originality and Novelty: Does the article offer a new contribution, fresh perspective, or innovative solution in the fields of accounting or management?
- Methodological Rigor: Is the research design appropriate, clearly explained, and capable of answering the research questions?
- Analysis and Discussion: Are the data presented clearly? Is the interpretation of the findings well-supported by robust evidence and relevant literature?
- Structure and Language: Is the manuscript structured logically (IMRaD framework) and written in clear, concise academic language?
- References: Are the citations up-to-date (ideally, at least 80% from scientific journals published within the last 5-10 years) and highly relevant?
Reviewer Ethics
- Confidentiality: Reviewers must treat the submitted manuscript as a confidential document. It must not be shared or discussed with anyone else.
- Conflict of Interest: If you recognize the work or have a professional/personal relationship with the authors or their institution that might bias your judgment, please notify the Editor immediately to decline the review invitation.
- Timeliness: Please complete your review within the specified timeframe ([Fill timeframe, e.g., 2-3 weeks]). If you require an extension, contact the Editor as soon as possible.
Final Recommendation Options Upon completing the review, you must select one of the following decisions on the OJS platform:
- Accept Submission: Accepted as it is, with no revisions required.
- Revisions Required: Accepted with minor revisions (no further review needed).
- Resubmit for Review: Major revisions are required, and the manuscript must undergo another round of review after correction.
- Decline Submission: Rejected due to severe scientific flaws or being out of scope.
